Tours

Aircraft Viewing
The public is welcome to enjoy two aircraft viewing areas at the Falcon Field Airport terminal building. 4800 E. Falcon Drive: a patio behind the terminal and a separate aircraft viewing area adjacent to the terminal.
Both areas face the aircraft parking ramp and offer close-up views of fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters on the ramp, taxiways and runways. Both areas feature:
- Free public parking in front of the terminal building.
- Free binoculars for close-up viewing as the aircraft take off, land and hover.
- Free aviation-themed goodie bags for kids available at the airport administration office inside the terminal building.
Terminal Patio
The shaded viewing patio behind the terminal features amphitheater-style and traditional patio seating amid desert landscaping. Enter the terminal building through the front door, proceed through the lobby, and access the patio from the back door. The patio is open to the public 7 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
Aircraft Viewing Area
Falcon Field's newly renovated aircraft viewing area is open daily and can be accessed directly from the terminal parking lot. The sidewalk leading to the viewing area is painted with authentic runway markings and is located between the terminal building and the air traffic control tower. Recent improvements include:
- A clear plexiglass view fence facing out to the airfield
- Benches for seating in front of the view fence, as well as picnic tables and chairs
- Colorful canvas shade sails
- Two airplane-shaped seats for children
- New grass turf area
