Phoenix Area FAA Modernization Project Implementation Update

The FAA needs additional time to complete the environmental review process. As a result, the implementation of the Phoenix Area FAA Modernization Project is now targeted for June 10, 2027.

This additional time will allow the FAA to thoroughly review, analyze, and address the substantial feedback received from the public and local agencies during the Draft Environmental Assessment comment period. The FAA will also complete ongoing consultation with various local, state and federal agencies and tribes.
