Members of the Falcon Field Airport community enjoy sharing their passion for aviation with each other and aviation enthusiasts. To foster a spirit of community among airport tenants and to encourage others to learn, explore and pursue their aviation dreams, the airport hosts meetings and free events throughout the year for pilot and business tenants as well as the general public. Falcon Field Airport is home to a variety of aviation organizations and pilot groups.

The airport comes to you! Visit the Falcon Field Airport booth at City of Mesa community events to learn about your community airport and how you can get involved in aviation!

Cockpit Close-Up: America 250 Celebration

Cockpit Close-Up: America 250 Celebration

Join us at Cockpit Close-Up for a special America 250 celebration honoring aviation, American history, and the spirit of community. This family-friendly event will take place at Falcon Field Airport, located at 4800 E Falcon Drive, Mesa, AZ.

Planned attractions include historic and patriotic aircraft displays, including the AAHF UH-1M Huey helicopter and an F-16 on display from the Arizona Commemorative Air Force Museum . Additional highlights include participation from Mesa Police Department and Mesa Fire and Medical Department, family and kids activities, community engagement opportunities, food and refreshments available for purchase, and a visit from the Mesa Public Library Bookmobile.

Cockpit Close-Up events regularly bring families, aviation enthusiasts, and community members together to experience aviation up close and learn more about the important role Falcon Field Airport plays in our community.
