Members of the Falcon Field Airport community enjoy sharing their passion for aviation with each other and aviation enthusiasts. To foster a spirit of community among airport tenants and to encourage others to learn, explore and pursue their aviation dreams, the airport hosts meetings and free events throughout the year for pilot and business tenants as well as the general public. Falcon Field Airport is home to a variety of aviation organizations and pilot groups.

The airport comes to you! Visit the Falcon Field Airport booth at City of Mesa community events to learn about your community airport and how you can get involved in aviation!

About Jessica Cox

Born without arms due to a rare condition, Jessica Cox has defied expectations to become the world’s first licensed armless pilot and the first armless black belt in the American Taekwondo Association.

Since the age of 14, Jessica has chosen to live without prosthetic arms, mastering daily tasks using her feet—including driving, typing, and flying an aircraft. Her aviation journey began in 2004 with Wright Flight, and in 2008 she earned her pilot’s certificate through an Able Flight scholarship.

Jessica flies a 1940s ERCO 415-C Ercoupe, an aircraft uniquely designed without rudder pedals, allowing her to control the plane entirely with her feet. She is also the author of Disarm Your Limits, an inspiring book about perseverance, resilience, and possibility.

We’re thrilled to welcome Jessica Cox and share her extraordinary story.
